Mental Wellness Built by Athletes for Athletes.

Creating athlete-centered resources, community, and practices built for performance and purpose.

Our Motive

As women, we believe it is vital that we step up and help guide the men in our lives to build the same emotional intelligence and comfort in discussing these topics as we do. To reset the culture around male athletics, we must redefine strength, leadership, and success. The traditional stigma around masculinity teaches men to internalize pressure, but by creating spaces where athletes can openly discuss stress, anxiety, and depression, we can dismantle the belief that strength means silence. If the toughest competitors can embrace their emotions and ask for help, everyone—on or off the field—can feel empowered to do the same.

The Altobelli Foundation is committed to leading a new era in male sports culture, one that values vulnerability, support, and true mental toughness in the pursuit of greatness. Our mission is to protect the mental health of men not just as athletes, but as human beings, building a healthier and more sustainable path for future generations.

Our Values

Leadership

Leadership is about humility, not hierarchy; impact over ego. John set the tone; when he spoke, people listened. More than a coach, he was a husband, father, role model, and champion who treated his players like his own children, preaching consistency, simplicity, competitiveness, and hard work—always emphasizing the importance of brotherhood.

Loyalty

Winning is built on loyalty. Keri was the definition of loyalty; she instilled in her children the value of standing up for one another and showing unwavering support for your people. Her focus was always on the team. She believed in the power of intentional relationships, choosing to surround yourself with those you aspire to be like, and appreciating every moment.

Authenticity

Being unapologetically yourself empowers others to do the same. Alyssa, was confident, fearless, the playmaker, and a friend to all. She was honest, could always make you laugh, and a constant learner. Confident in her identity as both a player and person, she never felt the need to be anyone else.
